Sakori - place for spiritual seekers!!
As we all know ' Saibaba's Shirdi has become a tourist destination for travelers, people from all part of the world travel to shirdi to seek baba's blessings. Baba itself was fakir throughout his lifetime and we have made him sit on golden throne, its all baba's leela anyways! Shirdi is no more a town now,its is city in itself with all luxury of the world at the door step.
Trust me Baba needs your attention and love, nothing else!!
With context to Shirdi, Sakori is still a small village with less people travelling to that blessed place. People coming to shirdi might not even know where sakori is blessed.
Upasni Maharaj was disciple of Saibaba who resided at this place for lifetime and did his work for society and masses supporting them in spiritual upliftment. Maharaj was one who gave fire to Baba's body! Isn't amazing? Bodies simply born and die,divine souls remain interconnected.Both Baba and Maharaj spend lot of years together,baba was the one who made Upasni Maharaj "Sadhguru from a "Simpleton"
All these godly saints are interlinked, Saibaba made god realisation to Upasni Maharaj who in turn made god realisation to Meher Baba! I have witness all these three places and these places are beyond once mind and thought if your senses are conscious enough.
After a career as a doctor and three failed marriages, Maharaj began to hear all singing voice that he could not explain.This troubling sound, along with various other problems led him on a difficult quest that finally culminated in him meeting with baba who finally gave him god realisation at age of 42.The word "god realisation" is as complex as it can be and as simple as making yourself one with divine. Dissolving your human consciousness with the infinity.
We reached Sakori only to realize that the temple was huge and was like a wada (residential place for waelthy people in rural maharashtra) I was simply moved with the silence and surroundings. Trees in the mandir area were creating meditative zone for trespassers. I have seen all the worldly offers till date but nothing can replace the purity of Sakori.
Energies do impact you!! Have you ever felt before,if not then check out when you visit to a temple where mantras are recited, our place where deity worship is happening, whether its temple, mosque or church! The supreme energy is one, also notice yourself in all the crowded place on earth.. you will realize the difference.
Universal energies when tuned with your body, resonance happens and thats when we can say we touched ecstasy in meditation! The temple area was simply filled up with the beautiful quotes, written scripts and photos of Maharaj!
It was morning time and aarti ( songs in devotion) was taking place, I was observing the samadhi of Maharaj, it was maharaj statue in stainless steel cage, yes you heard it right , cage! Once Maharaj lock himself in 6*2 wooden cage for one year almost! He is used to dislike his body, he was of opinion body as an obstacle between him and divine, but baba cleared his thoughts!!
Saints guide, nurture and clear karmas of their disciples through such acts which is beyond one's materialistic mind. We happened to roam around the temple, one small hut where maharaj use to meditate and live was open for visitors in the morning hours, I was lucky soul to get this opportunity to enter, the time I entered I didn't want to leave that place. It was captivating and making me stay there.
Life has no meaning at all, its you who have to give the meaning, how to give it and what to give it, its in divine's hand. Dissolve yourself in Divine's love and his grace would shower on you! The most particular thing about Sakori mandir as it has female workers who take care of the premises ( Kanayakumari's) these females have given up the materialistic world for devotion towards divine! All the code of conduct is followed vigorously in the mandir.
The principal teachings of Upasni Maharaj was that there are three rules that if observed sincerely lead to a life worth living -
1) Not to trouble anybody in the least
2) To suffer for and be useful to others
3) To remain contented in a state of BE AS IT MAY
Life itself is a miracle, we try to push ourselves in the zones which actually are not required. We add ambitions, goals,possessions and whatnot to make it as complicated as possible! At the end, we need only self realisation, death is an ultimatum truth and our life is for realizing divine and nothing else!
We drove back to Shirdi for darshan from sakori and I got a call from another divine soul to get one book from sakori, I was lucky enough to visit the temple again and take the blessings.
All these saints dont need any of your wealth and offerings, they just need full consciousness of yours, ultimately they are our Sadhgurus who will show the path of reality!
