An Abode of Adiyogi...

Heavy rains! It was pouring when I got down from my Rickshaw at the front of Adiyogi statue! The statue is basically at the other end of the Isha foundation entrance! But trust me just looking at the  Adiyogi , you will start feeling that you are in some different world . This was my fifth visit to Isha and the welcome itself was mind boggling! The heavy rains, darkness everywhere ( It was an Amavasya - 2nd July 2019) and I was lucky enough to arrive at this place on this day!

This was my first visit without my family to Isha foundation.! I always believe that if you want to explore the truth of life you have to travel alone, keeping aside all your luxuries and desires, keeping aside all your achievements and gains! Just be a human , simple human and surrender yourself to divine grace. So as it happens I walked through Adiyogi statue in heavy rains and in dark night! Completely wet and then finally entered in the Isha ashram premises! Got to know one of the amazing thing that Dhyanalinga would be opened till 1 am due to Amavsya day! This was to be a  newer experience to me!Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev has created this fantastic consecrated spaces in the form of Dhyanalinga ( shiva ) and Linga Bhairavi ( Shakti) , both these places gives you experiences of two different energies , we call shiv Shakti, few of them call Yin Yang!! Sadhguru has spent more than 20 years to create this heaven at the foothills of Velliangiri mountains!

Velliangiri mountains are the Kailash of south where great yogis have done there rituals , it’s the most auspicious mountain of south!

Pranam!

Love is the only thing which the divine needs from you! He doesn’t need all materialistic things you offered to him! Pure heart and true feelings for divine are enough to evoke Pramatma within you! In one of  books of Upasni Maharaj ( Sakori) he says we all are jivatama ( that’s with desires), the day you start shedding those, you move one step ahead towards him. Places like Isha are rare where divine is worshipped from perspective of spiritual growth and not from materialistic growth!

You will find people across the globe, whether Indians, Japanese , Europeans speaking the same language! There are no barriers, why there should be! When desires are dissolved we all are one ! Aren’t we ? You will find different races worshipping Dhyanalinga and lingabhiaravi with ease like the priests and poojari’s we have at different temples! God worship is not defined to selected sect, the person who seeks knowledge is Brahman!! So he might be anyone..

                                                                 DHANYALINGA

                                                          LINGA BHAIRAVI

The day I arrived in Isha was amavasya, the entry to Dhanyalinga was from the other gate! It is scientifically proven that energy levels are normally high on Poornima and amavasya day! That’s why you see high tides in sea! In most of the asylums, you see shift in behaviours of the people who are taking the treatments! We see in our day to day life, lots of rituals are done on these days! The purpose of these days are channelizing your energies upward towards divine! Mahashivratri falls on Amavasya day!!

It’s a  mesmerising experience to sit in the lap of Dhanyalinga! The next day morning, the first thing I decided was to visit Linga Bhairavi! Linga Bhairavi is the most powerful one,  meditate for few minutes and you can feel upsurge of energies within your body, its only possible if you are conscious enough, my understanding goes in following way, we are combination of masculine and feminine energy, that’s how we are born! The more of one element will result into the body you possess!  Your past karmas also defines on what body you will possess! Its too deeper to understand for normal human beings! The family you are born, the things you do, the people you are connected everything is based on karmas of your past lives! This topic deserves a separate blog altogether!  So these energies shiv Shakti are the source of existence for everyone! The feminine's are more prone towards shakti ( Prakriti) , so you see our mothers, sisters are care takers of families of all of us!! That's Devi for you! She is mother of all! and her presence is in everyone female you see in this world. But this doesnt mean man cant perceive shakti! Both the bodies have access to both the energies! Shiv without shakti is Shav and shakti without shiv is directionless..Men's are explorers and seekers, if you see they always want to do something that's shakti within them trying to create actions so that there desires are fulfilled which will final lead them to shiv the ultimate consciousness!  It is said that in humans, getting birth of Man is the most auspicious one!!

So to channelize these energies and make yourself aligned with divine,Sadhguru has created these spaces by following Vedic rituals! Conscreating ( pranprathistha) is not a joke! We see many temples in our surroundings which are built regularly, by political influence or by any forced circumstances or community, so called Brahmans are called and pranprathistha is done!  Ridiculous! If your life energies are not aligned to divine, then what kind of pranprathistha you are  going to do! The Brahmans has to be a pure soul who is receptive enough to call the divine in the stone/ statue with his own sacrifices! Trust me it’s not easy! So that’s why you will find all new temples which created are based on materialistic gains rather than spiritual growth! Check out the vibrations in older temples from Mahakaleshwar, Trambkeshwar to Tirupati Balaji, you will feel the difference! The Vedic science is lost somewhere! That’s what exactly Sadhguru has done by purifying to extremes and giving his life energies to create such spaces and maintaining them to the core!

Pranam!

Last month, I traveled to Baba Baidyanath Jharkhand! It’s one of the most powerful place where jyotirlinga and shakthipeeth stays together! What a rare combination? and see what we are doing? The context I want to put forward is Cleanliness!!  Cleanliness is the only thing divine needs, but look at us! We have made a mockery of it for our own selfish cause!  I saw water everywhere, milk and flowers wastage!

Not only this,

Trust me, I remember the Brahman sitting at the shivling asking me for money to put in for touching the shrine! I was just observing! In the end he told be “Teri mannat puri nahi hogi” I don’t go to such powerful places to fulfill my small and pity desires! I just kept observing him! He might have got my message! That’s the world for us!Shaktipeeth is the powerful place of shakti where devi Sati's different body parts have fallen down post her death! 51 shaktipeeths!! Its a different story! The context here I want to make is cleanliness, such an auspicious place but we are responsible for creating such situations!

Divine needs your attention that's it! The day we realize this, would be the day of spiritual growth. Isha has created many such places within the ashram that will fascinate you as an individual. From Suryakund to Chandrakund..From free meditation programs to explaining you the vedic importance of worshiping at different places! At every point, minute care has been taken !  Isha is supporting thousands of lives and villages across Coimbatore creating an ecosystem that is very important in today's world. If you are living for survival only to get food and shelter, Isha welcomes you with open heart! They are ready to take care of you till you die, but are you ready? Question to be asked..

Om Namah Shivay!!
